With the confidence entrusted to us by you and your referring physician, we provide comprehensive, yet individualized, examination and treatment. All parts of your evaluation are specific, and are carried out to answer relevant questions relating to your particular situation. We consider it our responsibility to educate our patients about their conditions and the various choices available to them. Therefore, all practical management options are presented and discussed with you. Your understanding is assured before any decision regarding treatment is made.

We have been dedicated to the goal of providing excellent urological care. Our physicians have been well positioned to continue to provide experienced medical and surgical care, and to bring tested, proven innovations for the treatment of all urological conditions. For instance, surgical management of renal tumors (cancer) and prostate cancer by laparoscopic techniques is becoming the standard of care. This includes robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery and ablation surgery. Furthermore, we are currently performing surgery for female stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse using the most effective procedures done by minimally-invasive techniques. The benefit experienced by our patients is effective treatment of their conditions with significantly less invasiveness, allowing for a better, easier, and quicker recovery. Our physicians are leading the effort of minimally-invasive urologic care on the San Francisco Peninsula at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center, Sequoia Hospital, and San Mateo Medical Center.

Equally important during your treatment and anticipated stress, we are very much sensitive your needs, be it your time constraints, your work, family concerns, fear, lack of understanding, or any other concerns. You can fully expect our dedication to understand your particular needs in order to provide you appropriate care. Your family is important to you and we would always welcome their involvement in your care. Therefore, we will seek to establish and to maintain communication so that they too have an understanding and be informed.

Our practice continually focuses on the importance of the wonderful diversity among the people in this Bay Area community in which we serve. Our physicians strive to have an ideal makeup of experience and youth. We would like to learn about your personal values and traditions. We too are multi-cultural and multi-lingual, an important characteristic that we will maintain.

Our mission is a never-ending goal where we continually look for ways to improve access, strive to provide the best service, and aim for your best potential outcome. We rely on, and are grateful to all who support our effort: our patients and their family, our staff, our community and teaching hospitals, and our fellow community physicians with whom we have had the privilege of working.
